As the first semester of the Oak Hall 2023-2024 school year comes to a close, Middle and Upper School students are gearing up for midterm examinations. Midterms this year begin on Dec. 8 followed by the weekend and then from Dec. 11 – 14. Each day of each midterm will require students to be in their instructed classroom by 9 a.m., ready to take their exam. Conflicts:

Any student that has a test conflict (for example: two science tests on one day) will need to see your teacher for those classes as soon as possible. Conflict exams will be available to take every day of exam week at 12:30 p.m. in the Learning commons. In addition to conflict exams being available every day, they will also be available Friday, December 15th.

Study Habits:

To feel confident and comfortable while taking your exam it is crucial to maintain good study habits during exam week. “Students should pace themselves and not wait till last minute to cram, so it’s important to stretch your time out by using all 7 days to study rather than just using one night to study,” said US Learning Specialist Paul Mucci. Visit the learning commons for more additional resources provided by both Ms. Metzler and Mr. Mucci.
