A Breakfast to Honor the Legacy

By Sofia Santelices

On Oct. 15, families known as “legacy families” were treated to a breakfast banquet in the Cofrin Gallery, courtesy of Oak Hall School. “This breakfast honors alumni who continue the Oak Hall legacy by enrolling their children at Oak Hall School,” said Oak Hall Development Associate Sean Hooey.

The annual “Legacy Breakfast”, as it is known in the community, is designed to bring alumni together, especially alumni whose child(ren) attend Oak Hall.

This year, Dr. Megan Gracy, Class of 1992, spoke to the group on behalf of alumni. She spoke about her experience at Oak Hall, and as an alumni. All students who have attended Oak Hall are considered alumni, even if graduation from Oak Hall didn’t occur. In recent banquets, legacy families have even consisted of grandparents and grandchildren.
